What is your style of photography?

Primarily photojournalistic, along with some nicely arranged portraits.
Our strong point is photographing the day's events as they unfold naturally, rather than staging things
or working from a big list. We are all about documenting your event in a detailed, fun and artistic manner.

We're not the kind of photographers who force you to do cheesy poses or hover inches away from you during the ceremony vows.
You won't be tripping over us as you walk down the aisle, either!
We do not make the guests pose at their tables during the reception dinner, or create artificial situations like a fake cake cutting or bouquet toss
(we will capture those events if they take place, of course....).
We are there when you need us, without taking over and running the show.

What is your typical timeframe on the wedding day?

We begin photographing approximately 2.5 hours before the ceremony and finish when the bride & groom leave the reception at the end of the evening.
However,the 'one photographer' option is for up to 7 hours of coverage (additional hours can be added).
We handle all of the photography direction, which ensures that the bride & groom have a great collection of portraits but will not be delayed in getting to
the party after the ceremony. The pictures will tell the story of the whole event with a mix of candids and formals.

How many pictures will I end up with?

It averages out to about 800 pictures but can depend on the length of time we shoot on your wedding day.


Do you travel for weddings?

Yes - we have photographed weddings from South Florida to L.A.!

Do we need to send you a photo list before the wedding?

We're allergic to photo lists. Seriously! Photo list = no creativity on our part and 'assembly line' group photos on your part.
It totally interferes with the flow of your event and robs you of dance floor time at the reception.
How will we know who to take pictures of, you ask?
We provide you with a wedding information sheet where you can indicate who is in the immediate family and wedding party. Those are the top priority people that we need for the portraits.
About a month before your wedding date, we will email you with a timeline for
the pre and post ceremony portraits, indicating who we will need and what time they should be ready for pictures.
We photograph everything else as it happens. If there are any special details,
people or events at the reception, we would love to know about those beforehand and will try to capture them for you! 

At a wedding, how long does it take to get the portraits done before and after the ceremony?

We are very considerate of this - there is nothing worse than being in a wedding where the photographer holds you
hostage at the ceremony site for endless hours of posed group shots! The guests waiting at the reception are not too thrilled about it, either.
To avoid this, we carefully prepare a timeline for you before the wedding day(see above question).
For couples that do not see each other before the ceremony, it takes about 30-45 minutes per side before and 30 minutes total after the ceremony.
For couples that do see each other, it takes about 2 hours before the ceremony and they can go directly to the reception after.

I hate having my picture taken. Help!

At your wedding, it's more fun than you would think.
You are with your friends and family - the people who know you best and know how to make you laugh and relax.
We take advantage of this and the pictures show it!
Also, by shooting a lot of candids we can capture you having a great time at the wedding
without you being too aware of our cameras. These shots usually turn out to be everyone's favorites.

Do you set up large equipment at the reception?

No. In fact, we love it when our clients say that they didn't notice us at all during their reception,
but are amazed at the hundreds of photos we took of everything!

After the wedding, how long does it take to get the photo CDs and our album?

The discs of your wedding images are ready 5-7 days after the wedding.
Once you place the order for your wedding album and approve the layouts online, it takes about 6-8 weeks to receive your finished album.

Do you post the pictures online?

Yes - and the bonus for instant gratification fans is that the pictures are online the week after your event.
Anyone who was (or wasn't) at the wedding can view the pictures by using your password.
Pictures can also be ordered directly from the website and shipped anywhere.
Your gallery stays online for six months after the wedding date.

Are the printable digital files included in the base rate?

Yes, one DVD-R of all of the high resolution digital files is included in our current packages.
The copyright is released to you and you can get prints done via any photo lab.
You can also order reprints from us at any time and the benefit to that is that each image would be individually retouched and perfected by us.

How long have you been photographing weddings?

Since 1995.


When should we schedule our engagement photo session?

You can schedule it for any time up until the week of the wedding.
We do engagement photo sessions Monday through Friday, in Atlanta.
Outside of Atlanta, travel fees apply. The shoot itself only takes about 45 minutes.

What happens if you are ill and can't make it to the wedding?

First, we find out if one of our photo team members are available to cover.
If not, we are part of a nationwide network of wedding
photographers and have several associates in Atlanta to call upon.
You will not be left without a photographer on your important day!
